The Nemo’s Garden Pilot Plant in Noli is starting to operate soon
Land infrastructures will be operative within May 23rd while the 9 biospheres will be fully operational at the beginning o June
Biosphere #3 has been already seeded (72 plants )
We have in the #6 a quite old Tobacco plant and a wonderful ALOE who was seeded in the summer 2021 !
The Pilot Plant will be integrated with an artificial reef 9 meters long , 2 wide and 1.2 high for the analysis of water current speed and possibility of production energy for the utilities of the lab.
On 7 biospheres it will be installed a new hydroponic cultivation system , already tested in 2022 and increasing the number of crops to 100 each biosphere . A total 0f 772 + biosph #6 observatory .
The main production will be focused to Mint , Basil , Thyme , Lemon Balm.
Sea life is still very active. The crabs are still “patrolling” several biospheres and are welcoming Emilio or Paolo when they operate in the domes.
On June 5th we shall welcome the class of an Italian High school. It will be the first educational events of 2023 .
We shall communicate the full calendar activities within the next couple of weeks.

The science
behind

Agriculture represents 70% of freshwater use worldwide: water management is needed in most regions of the world where rainfall is insufficient or variable. Increasing pressure is being placed on water resources by industry and urban areas, meaning that water scarcity is increasing and agriculture is facing the challenge of producing food with reduced water resources.
